A press release to coincide with the book's launch was issued today. This is what it said
- There are so many different ideas on how to lead effectively that they have confused a generation of leaders, argues James Scouller, author of the new book, The Three Levels of Leadership. In so doing, he says, they have ignored the key issue – the leader’s psychology.
- His book, which is a manual for leaders, changes that. It promises to end the confusion, explain the psychology and show people how to develop their leadership presence, knowhow and skill. In short, to become the best leader they can be
- It’s timely, he argues, because leaders have a huge effect on our world and we need good leadership, especially now at a time of global economic crisis. But until this book, he points out, no one had integrated previous leadership thinking and modern psychology into one simple, complete model to teach people how to grow themselves as leaders.
- The book offers several breakthrough ideas and practical exercises. It’s backed up by the latest scientific research – which the author explains in plain English – and his unusually succinct, clear style of writing makes it an easy read.

- The Three Levels of Leadership: How to Develop Your Leadership Presence, Knowhow and Skill (ISBN 9781852526818) is published by Management Books 2000. It was released on 6 June 2011. Priced at £16.99, it is available at all high street and online book retailers.
